Just painted my HS stock

So, I just finished painting my HS precision stock. After all the prep, it was painted in Krylon matte Black, then Rustoleum gray stone (makes a bad ass grip texture). I'm thinking about adding another small light coat of Krylon matte black at a good distance to just darken it a little before clear coat. I wanted to get yalls opinions.

No. Strong texture, slip resistant in any wet condition

Yeah, but definetly went lighter with the texture on the cheek.

Very nice. Ive used that texture paint on other projects (switch plate covers in a cabin) and it has held up exceedingly well. Would you mind expanding on the prep a bit? I have a HS stock on a factory R700 5R that Im thinking of changing the color on. Thanks

How many coats of clear coat are you using?

Looks great. If your not using clear coat, I would definitely spray a couple of coats of clear matte on it and it will hold up a lot longer.
