• Winner! Quick Shot Challenge: What’s the dumbest shooting myth you’ve heard?

    View thread

Just wondering when everyone is getting together to loot...

This is not about a shooting that had tragic consequences... it's about the fact that noone is paying any attention to it because it does not fit a narrative.

Leave the officer out of it... he got put in an impossible situation by a mentally-defective little nar nar who used a van as a weapon while claiming he was suicidal. Tragedies like this happen every day and are gut-wrenching for the officers involved. And the families. And the communities.

The fact that this kids life matters to noone... is reflective of the sickness in media, politics and the race industry.

Leave the officers out of it... or I'll nuke this thread faster than Enola Gay.

but shot 13 times? seems just a bit excessive. did he have to change mags?

Right? Hitting a golf ball 350 yards... %$#@ing lame. Hitting one AT 350 yards. Man's game!

It's a ton of fun shooting golf balls.

Made this rack for 300yd shooting.
For those with CDO/OCD, I know, the strings aren't equal length.
The fun part is when the strings are the proper length, hitting a lower ball causes it to impact the one above it.

We tried it at 100 with 22s and it's too easy, so it'll go to 200 for RF use.

The balls have a small screw into them, same as the rack.
The string has a loop on each end and the string is pulled through the loop to make a noose. Everything is quick change for when the balls get torn up.
I did add a cross brace to the legs and the rack to stiffen it up because after a while it would begin a side to side wobble.

A shit sammich for all involved. I could never be a Cop. I would shoot too fast, prior Army training and experience would lead to that.BTDT
Suicide by Cop is a real thing. I just wish the Chickenshits that do that had a thought in their minds as to how hard that hurts the Cop that takes the shot.

I have a good friend who will never be the same again after he had to do that. I try my best to help him but it doesn't seem to be enough. He probably should not have been a Cop to start with, but he was.

It is incredibly rewarding... In 15 years, I never had a bad shift. Some tough things that had to get done... but far more really cool things and part of an incredible team of officers. We're all still friends. And they paid us to do it!

Good job on the "Target Balls".

Or would that be "Balls Target"?

Watch out for the trailer-hitches, when someone's backing up. Eh? :D

If anyone knows where to loot some 40 s&w, "have wheels, will travel..."

That got out of stock in DFW but if you drive out to like Amarillo and other places north and west, you should find plenty.
Now if you were in DFW and actually didn't have any and needed some, I'd give you a box of .40

That happened almost 7 years ago. Was backing up to my old 22' Sportcraft. Thought I needed to go a bit more, I let it idle back and it had a weird feeling.
Got out and found that I had forgotten to lower the tongue.

Left the plate like that as a reminder to always check before closing the last foot or two.

Sean, you're not the only person to notice it. 😁
