On Tuesdays on FX. Timothy Olyphont is a US Marshal back in his hometown. Pretty bad ass, just saw the pilot and I think we got a winner here for a new show to DVR.

DVR'd it but haven't had a chance to watch it yet. Early consensus is it's a stereotypical portrayal of Kentucky complete with nazi skin heads, rednecks with guns and killin galore.
Well..... after I read that it might be ok.
Seams it is in part based in Harlan County, Eastern Ky, my area...

I watched it and I am from Kentucky. LOL Really liked it. Not sure if it will last though. Deadwood was a great show but didn't last.

"Want me to wing em or kill em?" Love that part. Like any and all shows on the tube, bare in mind its for entertainment. It fills my law enforcement/ vigilante/ just shoot em niche.

I have watched them all so far and its entertaining IMO. Can't beat a cool headed guy shooting bad guys every chance he gets!

I loved the Frankfort "Dixie Mafia" mention a show or so ago...must have been referring to our politicians...
Oh and Tates Creek road has major crime every show, my how Lexington has fallen...lol..

That is one of the best new shows on tv. I thought last weeks episode where the judge got bit by the snake and the stripper was suckin the poison out was hilarious. You had to see it.

Givens is a great character. Timing is perfect. Kinda Gary Cooper like..Women are hot esp his Ex spouse.
Boyd Crowder is such a stereotype old boy (Actor Goggins grew up in Alab.)..reminds me of my Stone Mtn GA days....

This reminds me of an old show that got cancelled years ago called "The Marshall" with Jeff Fahey. It was a show about a "regular" guy that was a marshall. I liked, but it got cancelled when they moved the show to 1am? Yeah it's gonna last long there.
