Today was so beautiful outside that I couldnt help but to go out and shoot my New Knights LPR. If you saw my previous thread you would know my last shooting experience didnt go well so I needed to get the sour taste out of my mouth. So like a good college student I skipped class and went out to break in my new rifle. It took me about 4 hours to break it in how I like but it was very worth it I think!! Keep in mind these barrels are 1 and 7 twist so i needed heavier bullets but to break it in, I just shot 50 gr american(NON match) Eagle Ammo, and to my surprise it shot that very well! Cant wait to load up some 68gr or 77gr!!!!!!! Big Thanks to Knights for making a FINE rifle, I love it!!
Current KAC 1025.jpgCurrent KAC 1026.jpg These may not be the best groups in the world but given the circumstances I was very happy and can feel the potential of this rifle. 5 shot groups.

Updated Pics. Got some pretty Good groups out of 55gr VMAX. And 77GR Sierra Match King. My favorite thing about the rifle is that it seems to eat even cheap ammo well and shoot 1'' groups 5 shots. With the good ammo you can get 1/2. Maybe better with a real good shooter. Love the gun, even the zero doesnt change as you change ammo, pretty amazing and my only gun that will do that

Glad to hear things are looking up.

We've been pretty happy with the performance of the LPR's

Kevin, I saw in another thread yall have something out about sustain fire will hurt accuracy, on the LPR how many rounds at the most per minute would you run since it has a Krieger, it used to not be a concern but since it shoots so dang good...it is.

TRUST ME it's worth the wait....Dont give in lol. I'm bout to make another post about how awesome this gun is, it deserves to be known. Trust me, I've been through a LOT of high quality AR's and not one can shoot with it. I shot a half inch group at 300 this morning. Not half MOA half inch period. Look for a new post soon
I can't find the LPR upper anywhere in stock. Make some more kac!!!

I would not do multiple 30rd magazines rapid fire -- but rapid engagement of multiple targets is not going to hurt the barrel if its only a mag or two. When SS barrels heat up their change temper more than Chrommoly steel barrels do (I'm not a metallurgist) and you can get throat cracking sooner. Also hot barrels will gather copper more than cooler barrels (all else being equal)

We are pretty back ordered on these -- Kreiger barrels are back ordered to hell and back.

I debated on getting an LPR but opted for a MOD1 instead. The LPR is still on the list though.

My only problem is my URX came loose somehow, by the time I go a response from KAC & calling them I ended up ordering the barrel nut wrench. Enough time wasted in my already short 3 week vacation home by the time I got the wrench and had things squared away I didn't get a chance to shoot it. Next vacation maybe.

Back to the LPR, it's sweet package.
