great test, I wonder how the Sandman K would stack up?

In other videos, the DA sandman K has test results right in that group, I am really starting to appreciate the utility of smaller cans and sound at the shooters ear, especially ones that are lower in back pressure. So much less messing around with gas guns getting them to run

I don't have a Sandman -K or I would've added it to the test. The DeadAir guys are legit with the numbers I've seen them post. As far as "other videos" you guys know where I stand on meters that don't meet the MilSpec equipment standards. Even 2209s are pretty much fucked these days. They have a very hard time catching FRP and most of them are in need of complete rebuild. Even the ones we have. When we first got the PULSE it was heartbreaking to realize we wasted so much time over the years trying to do stack development with them.

I agree, suppression test numbers get wonkee sometimes, and really need to be looked at in aggregate not as ones and twos.

With that being said, I have a Sandman K that I run on 13.5 inch MWS and while in no way would I consider it quite, I really like the can. The gun that was violently over gassed with a full size GMT-300WM ran beautifully with the K. Also to add, while I would not imply that its hearing safe on a short 308, taking a single shot, it honestly did not feel bad as it seemed that most of the noise was at the muzzle. Thats pretty cool.

After seeing your video today shooting the 8 cans and the last one being your 30 cal 7” gen 2 made up my mind for my next can. Going to either be a 7 or 9 gen 2 ultra.
