Rifle Scopes Kahles 5-25 target rifle

For target stationary position maybe PRS shooting...do you prefer bikini or caps (tenebraex)
Cycling, adjusting magnification does caps interfere or on the way specially for shooting where time matter??

I have used just about all the scope caps; Butler Creek, NF, Tenebraex, Vortex, etc. My experience has been that the best option is the low profile caps like the Vortex or Aadland that fold all the way back. This prevents them from getting damaged on barricades or other obstacles. I ordered a pair of the Aadland for the k525

Vortex Defender are nice priced and are tough build.
I have these in both of my K624i scopes.
Tenebraex might be better, but it cost 2x price of Vortex, and Vortex has life time warranty too.

My issue with caps when looking trough the scope it makes tunneling looks thicker.

I have had no luck with the vortex defenders on k624i's. They just don't stay on, every time you try and flip up the cap the entire thing comes off.
I like the simple bikini cover they come with.

I use Mcnett camo tape to secure them on .
That´s the negative thin of the Defender, they could be a bit thigter, but there are no middle model of 50-56.

They came with coat only no flip cover or bikini..i like bikini too easy off and shoot nothing on the way you need to be aware while cycling bolt...flip cover makes more sense for hunting rifle IMO.
I dont flip cover will help during competition?
But to protect lense when scipe not being use

I just ordered AADland for my K318i, prefer caps so I have them right there where I need them. Shooting in a sandy practice round last weekend and sand was flying with everyone shooting (only negative of everyone having brakes and shooting prone). Would of been nice to shut caps, vs. putting sand covered scope coat back on.

I'm using the aadland on my k624 for PRS and it works great!

I use Tenebraex on my K624i. Had them for years. Never an issue with them.
