Rifle Scopes Kahles 624i review vs everthing else.

Found this short review of the Kahles with the Mil 6 reticle on the optics talk forum. Thought this may be useful for those researching one of the top tier scopes. Unfortunately S&B, USO and Steiner are not included in the mix.

I had a 624i with lots of issues. It's been to Austria many more times than I care to discuss again. I ended up with the Steiner 5-25 and absolutely love it.

I got to look through a 624i last weekend and was really impressed by the image quality. Eye relief and clarity were excellent and throughout the full range of magnification it made the HDMR I was shooting feel cheap.

I like my Kahles as well as anything else I've looked through. Glass is good . Eye box is better than anything else I've tried. I like it better than my 5-20 S&B

Just picked up a Kahles 24x with mil4, I will do a comparo against the SundB 25x, Steiner 25x, and Premier 25x I own. As it stands my favorite bounces between the SundB. Glass on the Premier is amazing, as well hard to beat the excellent turrets.

Using medeocre glass out to 1000 or past is headache inducing.

It is cheap compared to the Kahles at less than half the cost.
