Kahles 7x25 helia vs Leica 2400 r

Hey guys im looking at getting a rangefinder and have kind if narrowed it down to these two... the price is the same $550.00ish

from what I can tell the Leica has better glass but appears to be a bit slower on reading distances than kahles.

the Leica is made in Portugal and the Kahles is made in Burma...

just curious out of these two options if you have used them both in the field and what your guys thoughts are on them, Thanks!

Where did you find that? I'd be surprised if that's the case. I had a quick Google and couldn't see any info on country of manufacture so I'd assume Austria!

I ended up buying the Kahles I just loved how fast it would read different distances,

between the ones I looked at here’s where they were made and price from the store where I was

leica - Portugal $550
Kahles - Burma $550
Vortex razor - assembled in phillipines didn’t say where it was made $500
Nikon black 4x - China $450

Fair enough - I didn’t expect the Kahles to be made in Burma! But if it works, it works...
