No it's the original with more mils per rev, maybe I'm biased but I don't see the price tag of a dlr being worth the extra loot. Less mils of travel per rev, a negligible fov gain, and a throw lever that you don't need due to the mag ring being buttery smooth as is (plus it gets in the way anyhow) blocking the "easy to see" larger numbers on the turret... to each their own though.
