Up for sale is my circa 1956 USMC Property Remington 40x 22LR. I’ve had this gun for at least 15 years and swore I’d never sell but life happens. This rifle is exactly how I received it minus the scope rail and duracoat. It is missing the front trigger guard screw but doesn’t not affect accuaracy as this does not act as the action screw. Rifle is a hammer. I shoot this rifle often. Bolt serial number does not match. I’ve searched all over and over her than maybe @nesikabay ive yet to find one that did match. looks like someone put it in an XB stock. I might know where the correct type of stock is for that 22
