Kelbly slide on picatinny rail question

I've just purchased one of the above for my Stolle Kodiak action rifle, can anyone who has got one of these tell me if the action need's drilling / tapping or does the rail just simply clamp to the dovetail with the 3 screws (like a scope ring would)? I've mailed Kelbly's but as yet had no reply.

Many thanks

Andy

Just tighten screws down. Use some loctite so screws don't come loose.

Thanks for that Thud, how do you find your rail do ever have any problems with it moving or do they just satay put?

Thanks

Andy

Re: Kelbly slide on picatinny rail question

I have never had a problem with them as long as I followed the instructions.
Just make sure it's snug and put loctite on allen screws to prevent them from coming loose.
I have them on 2 rifles and no issues.
