Just had a F/TR rifle built and I'm looking for some matches in the Louisville / Indianapolis / Cincinnati area.

I've heard of matches at Camp Atterbury and I've heard mention of matches at Ft. Knox.

Where do F Class shooters "flock" to in this area and are those matches scheduled monthly, bi-monthly, etc..?

Thanks for the help.

I'm hoping to have a match start really near me this up coming season. Only to 500yards though no long range stuff. If everything works the way im hoping the first match will be in april. As things work out and the dates are set (if they get that far) I'll post on here all the details.

I just happened to talk with someone a few minutes ago about this. It was discussed at the meeting Thursday evening. Do you have an update?

Re: Kentucky / Indiana F Class

Sorry to be late to the game, I have to remember to check this area more often!

On the Indiana side you have SIRPC:
http://www.southernindianarifleandpistolclub.com/

It is a limited range facility in Borden, IN going to 500 yards. If you check their site they will post their schedule of matches which should include 3-4 F-Class matches during summer.

On the Kentucky side you have KYSRPA:
http://kysrpa.org/2010/

They hold their matches at the 1,000 yard Scott Mountain Range located on Fort Knox. They typically run 4-5 F-Class matches during summer, to include a State Championship.

Both organizations are a great bunch of people. Shooting at either location has its ups and downs, but overall either one is good time!

Any specific questions on anything let me know.

Hope to see everyone in Spring 2012,
M Richardson
