Hunting & Fishing Kentucky public land

A buddy and I are looking to come to Kentucky to whitetail hunt around Halloween. Anyone care to point me to a good wma area or some private land for lease? Thanks in advance

We was looking into western Kentucky but open to the whole state really

Your best opportunity’s will be in the Peabody WMA area of Ohio county and muhlenburg county. You won’t have much of a crowd in October except for the muzzle loader season towards the end of the year. We have a good crop of whitetail this year and this local area hasn’t seen much for CWD so far. It is impacting the northern areas of sky though

Look up Land Betwern the Lakes. Very good deer hunting in that area.

Believe what you want about Bigfoot and Dogmen in the area. Don't forget personal protection.

I heard land between the lakes hasn’t been very good the past few years that’s where we had originally planned. I’d rather find a smaller less known piece of public land if that’s possible lol
