There were issues with the repub governor, apparently some labor disputes with teachers and other highly unpopular fights he had.
They did, however, overwhelmingly elect a Republican Attorney General that also happens to be black.
I wouldn't consider this one a bellwether for the general election.
A rather unpopular candidate that still had pretty wide support apparently lost a very tight race.
We'll see what shakes out.

The son of a relatively popular, two-term moderate Democrat governor (who has only been out of office for Bevin's single term) won election by less than 5,000 votes against the least popular governor in all of America.

To show just how much his behavior alienated traditional Republican voters, check the results for the Governor race vs. that for Attorney General, where a young black Republican was overwhelmingly elected.

The AG results were duplicated for every other state office.

The only two things blue in Kentucky are grass and UK sports, and I'd bet Cameron beats Beshear for Governor in 2023 by double-digits.

What do you want to bet the courts and the prosecutors do absolutely nothing about proven voter fraud when it's in the Communist/Democrat's favour.......

I would bet the farm nothing is done about it. There is never anything done when a democrat comes out on top. Its always..."We're hoping for a fast, smooth, transition of power."

As in, its over! Nothing to see here. Move along.

Have you read anything in this thread? Or aware of how close to actual vote tally was? Im guessing no.

There probably was fraud, as there always is. I was just making a point that Bevin was a horrible candidate/incumbent and it wouldnt have taken much to beat him.
