I searched and couldn't find anything specific for the 2. So here goes.
I like shooting out to some distance 800-1000 yards. And as my skills increase I'd like to push the rounds I have to their limits. Currently, environmental elements are kicking my butt. As I'm learning more and looking forward to my upcoming training. That said, the little crappy wind meter I bought seems worth the 25.00 I spent on it. So, I'm looking at Kestrels. At this point I'm just coming off of replacing my roof; oh ...5-10 years ahead of schedule. So I'd not like to spend a fortune if i can help it. However, its clear you get what you pay for. As I am not a professional, I will not likely need my own personal dopler radar. But the basics are certainly important, wind speed, direction, humidity, temp. At this point I don't know what else would be practical. I am looking at those two models 3500 and 4000, do you folks have any suggestions. Its tough for me to make a call at this point as to what I will realistically grow into as my skills increase. Thanks for any and all suggestions.
