Kestrel 4500 AB info IPhone users !

I got my Kestrel 4500 AB Bluetooth today and this was in the box.
Not sure if this has been posted but I know several people have been wondering if we would be able to use with IPhone anytime soon. Just thought I would share.

No it will not talk to iPhones. NO BIG DEAL because the 4500 AB does everything I need from a ballistic calculator, it might be nice to to BT data from it to your iphone but it's simply not required.

Your card is advertising another kestrel product, I believe it's called the 'Drop' and it sends weather info back to your iphone. It is NOT saying that iphone will talk to your kestrel 4500AB.

The drop is a bit like a bluetooth kestrel without wind or display.

Actually, it's given me good reason to ditch iOs for my next phone.

I thought about it but i like my iPhone and iPad. If I were using the kestrel every week or so I guess I would consider it. I know so many people that have switched their phones and came right back. I guess to each their own though. Maybe this apple , Kestrel thing will work its self out soon . I guess at least I have the newest version so hopefully it would update any conversions.

Was just looking at the 4500 AB with Bluetooth. The almost 700 bucks seems a bit high. Where is a good place to get them? Any Hide member deals?

They're all going to be the same price, some vendors might throw in a Bryan Litz book in, or free shipping lol. EuroOptic, Impact Data Book, Triad Tactical to name a few of go to vendors
