I'm positive this has been covered but I did find it in my search; Why can three different Kestrels be within 5ft of each other and read DA differently (+/- 500)? exposure to elements, calibration and location all being the same... Which one do I use, and why?
 
I think Altitude and Density Altitude are computed from other measured quantities. So there is likely some errors on the calculation.

If you can use Temperature, Pressure and Humidity you'll be closer to the actual quantities being measured. ( although Relative Humidity is computed too )

Altitude needs to be set to consider barometric pressure (as is the case in aircraft altimeters) so be certain that those factors are set the same, as well as humidity calibration. Density altitude if affected by a lot of things . . .


My understanding, is that Kestrels use Station Pressure to calculate Density Altitude.

I would check Station Pressure and temperature readings to see where the discrepancy is. Are these all the same color. Are one or more in the sun?
