Any benefit to owning this when I already have a Kestrel 5700 Elite w/ Link? I’ve been using the app for updates and had purchased the dongle when I bought my Kestrel thinking I needed it. Is it just taking up space (sell it) or should I keep it?

If you have a smartphone and are comfortable using it, then I see no reason why you'd ever need to connect it to PC.
The firmware updates will be faster with dongle but if it were me I'd return and buy the optical cable, that will allow use Of AB Profile editor as well as firmware updates
