Kestrel gear

Hey guys been a while,

i was looking into Kestrel® with Horus Atrag Ballistics. Anyone own one or use one? any good? just looking for a combo basaltic calculator and something to gather the data with for under 1000.

I own one, well I think I do, I can't find it since getting back from TX! I like it, seems to produce good data is user friendly once you use it a little. It's not super quick to change the yardages, but it's not bad either. Once I find mine I'll do a little review and post it up here.

Oh, and I got mine from Tony (aka NOMAD) at Impact Data Books. I have no idea how he shipped it so fast, but he got it to me in time to take to TX despite my late ordering!! Thanks Tony!

Me too. I have yet to try out the Horus Kestrels.

I have the Horus (NV4500 I think). Its pretty good, a ton of features, but I don't know if I'll ever use it. My personal take on it is that I'll probably never use the ballistics.
