On stocks, optics, and basically anything that cannot be baked without damage go with the KG Stock Kote (1200 I think). Its very similar to Duracoat in performance, but I think the colors are a bit more true and you can get real flats and satins. Duracoat always tends to be a bit glossy and is a messy two part resin based paint. KG 1200 is a one part. Duracoat takes days to fully cure, longer sometimes depending on the weather. KG 1200 will cure in hours and be impervious to solvents.
Not to counter BlackUmp, but its hard to go wrong with KG. Everything they make is a tested, quality product, that they stand behind, and when used as directed works as advertised.
