Looking for some advise on what to do with my trigger in my 10/22, I am a newbie to all of this so bare with me if I sounds like I dont know what I am talking about, because I dont lol, that's why I am here. I will be putting a new Kidd trigger in but was wondering if I need to change the receiver internals or are the Ruger internals fine the way they are. I am looking at the Kidd drop in trigger two stage, I put on a new barrel and dropped it into a magpul hunter x22 so the trigger is next.
Thank You
Carl

The trigger doesn't require any other mods to be usable, so yes you can just swap out the trigger and you will be good to go. Several options to improve/upgrade the 10/22 bolt. Randy @ CPC can tune and improve the factory bolt, JWH makes a fine bolt and often runs sales for a great price, KIDD bolts are great and worth the investment. Lots of options out there.

I guess for me its the fun of adding different things to this rifle and finding out what works best, you know trial and error. I was hoping the ruger bolt assembly was ok and that an upgrade would not make that much of a difference, yes I want it to be as accurate as can be, but the learning aspect is what I have been enjoying so far, and will start another build soon. I am a lefty so I have noticed its hard finding advertised lefty stuff.

Barrel and trigger are the two most important parts. I really like the Kidd Auto Bolt release but I think your trigger group already has it.
next a 20 MOA base so you can get out to 300 yards.
