Kifaru Franken-pack, idea.

I have seen a lot of people talking about packs for various multi day competition/hunting use etc. I haven’t used this set up yet, not even sure I will, I was just messing around with some pouches and Kifaru stuff. Thought I would post it to hear others opinions or maybe give a few people ideas on how versatile the kifaru stuff is. It seems like a decent scalable option, but i haven’t been able to tell if I like it over a large pack yet. Oh and the USGI duffel would not be my first choice to sandwich in between, but I didn’t want to dig out a dry bag. Don’t mind the gypsy straps, I’m not done yet so haven’t tamed them. Anyways here’s some pictures.

Gotta love Kifaru products.
My only concern would be, if you start with the pack loaded without a rifle (top bag with more weight), then flip it down making it bottom heavy, it might get uncomfortable. But then again, it's a Kifaru and they are generally comfortable even when the weight distribution is jacked up.

I see what you mean, I don’t plan on putting anything heavy in that pocket but it still may be a little weird.

I love my Kifaru gear! I’ve carried heavy and light loads. It carries heavy loads better than anything else I’ve bought or been issued.
