Was looking at Scott's site for something else when I spotted this, I've never seen the Mark 6 at this low of price -
    Leupold Mark 6 3-18x44 TMR reticle #115943 M5B2 Turrets - $1849

I know the Mark 6 has had its share of issues but I know some of you have been looking for this scope and thought I'd share this deal.

Also, I've purchased from Scott before and he is a stand up guy, I would not hesitate to recommend him.

That's $180 bucks cheaper than amazon.

Maybe this is a dumb question, but asking anyway....The Mark 6 3-18 has 29 mils of elevation (14.5 up, 14.5 down). If you install a 30 MOA (8.7 mils) base, it will have 14.5+8.7 = 23.2 mils up. But the M5C2 dial only supports 20 mils (two turns of 10 mils). How common is it across other brands that the dial is the true elevation limit?

edit: linked scope has M5B2 dial, but still a 20 mil limit on the dial.

I bought my Leupold MK6 from Scott a few years back. He had the best price on it then and even better now. FWIW I have mine mounted in a zero cant Badger unimount on my SR25 and made hits past a 1000 yds and never had an issue with topping out the elevation turret.
