Crap, P-22s barely hold together in .22LR and you want to increase the impulse?
Actually it might work better in a pistol than a rifle; the pressure vents pretty soon.
Kimber hasn't delivered rimfire rifles in years. They did make the 1911kit in .17 at one time, no idea if they still do.
In my case, a flat trajectory is the least of my worries when shooting a pistol over 30 yd or so.
