Suppressors Kimber 1911 or Walther p22 in .17hm2

I want to get a rimfire pistol with more than the .22 LR. I have read about the Kimber Target in .17hm2, and the barrel conversion for the P22. Does anyone have any experience with these two guns?

Crap, P-22s barely hold together in .22LR and you want to increase the impulse?
Actually it might work better in a pistol than a rifle; the pressure vents pretty soon.

Kimber hasn't delivered rimfire rifles in years. They did make the 1911kit in .17 at one time, no idea if they still do.

In my case, a flat trajectory is the least of my worries when shooting a pistol over 30 yd or so.

I will edit the first post, to say target instead of varmint.

I want an hm2 because I want a better bullet coming out than lead. Ricochet with the frangible bullet is also much less risky. I have a rifle, I want the same caliber in a pistol.

The p22 conversion is $210 plus pistol. The kimbers go for this

I had a Kimber in 17hm2 for a few years. I believe they have discontinued this model and it's no great loss IMHO. Mine never fed right from the get go. I tried 3 different magazines in it and sent it back to Kimber once. They returned it no better than I sent it 2 months later.

Great idea, just not executed very well. Shot well enough once it got a round in the chamber. I planned to use it for jack rabbits but it never ran well enough to make it beyond the range.

Well, no one has anything good to say about either. Guess I should look into a Charger.
