Why is kimber so far behind in their production of the 7mm-08. I really want one of the "classic select grade", but cannot find one anywhere. I have looked on gunbroker, buds gun store, gunsamerica, impact guns, etc. If anyone has one or can find me one I would greatly appreciate it!!! Why is it that when you figure out what gun you want, then you can't find it???

They have some great stocks on'm but my buddy is totally unsatisfied with 06. I know its just one person an rifle but Remington makes pretty guns too

I wish the barrels were longer than 22". Plus they only weigh 5lbs. which is way to light to hold steady. I have looked into the Rem. 700 CDL 7mm-08. They are much cheaper just looked to plain jane for me but I might just have to get one of those b4 hunting season to get by.

pretty wood is for furniture and collectors rifles.....
and I don't see the point of owning one I can't shoot and use ...

Remington throats in a better fashion,regarding throat to mag constraint latitude. That being said,the Kimber is alotta rifle out of the box.
Scoped sanely,they perform rather well and the trigger's generous surface area in conjunction with it's light/crisp pull,allow them to shine rather brightly.

well that just makes me want a kimber even more. Where can I find one??? I don't mind used either? I also looked at the weatherby Mark V. but haven't found to many reviews on this caliber.

The VG is more rifle,than the '5's.
The Montana 7-08 is the way to fly and they are out there.
