Re: Kimber 84m in .260 REM?
Kimber has become a hit or miss in rifles. From what i read they used to be kimber of oregon and made some of the finest american rifles. Company split, those from the original formed Cooper. And that was that. If your buying from a person i would give it a try. If your trying to get a new one, they stopped making them. I was in the pursuit of a .260 hunting rifle and wanted a 84m or a sako 85. Ordered a 84m in .260 only to find out 4 months later after i called kimber that they stopped chambering rifles in .260. Got my sako and never looked back. I would give it a try though, wonderful feeling rifle. Excellent grade of wood, smooth action, 3 position saftey, and light as hell. It's a good combo for a walking rifle.
