KRG bolt knob on non Remington bolts.

Anybody try either or the KRG bolt knows on a Howa bolt handle? I just want a round ball type bolt knob like the Sterk or the one Savage puts on some of their guns. I don't want to buy a 180$ PTG bolt just for a different knob.

I have one on my howa as well. I would have to say I’m pretty impressed with it.

I just don't like the pineapple/hand grenade ones. Just want a round sphere. So have a smith thread the handle or does the Howa bolt handle come out like a Tikka?

For the money that looks like the way to go. I really like the Tikka knob, maybe I'll see if they can make it for a howa.

You'll have to send the entire bolt. The handle and the bolt body are machined out of one forging. You can't separate the handle from the bolt.

Yeah gonna go bolt on then. Unless I send it in to get the barrel threaded. Probably goingoing with a McGowan Howage setup later anyways.

At roughtly $45 delivered, the Bolt on QLK is a bargain for what you get and for how easy it is to install.
