Heyo.

Okay I have a decision to make. Im building a Tikka semi-custom and I cant decide if I want to get the new KRG Bravo that uses CTR mags, or just the regular Bravo. I already have some AICS mags I can use. Is there any advantage to the CTR mags?
Ive heard great things about them, but ive never used them before. Do they feed better/smoother than AICS for Tikkas? Anyone try out the new Krg Bravo w/CTR mags yet?

An advantage of the standard Bravo, is that it can use the aluminum forend and the enclosed forend that KRG offers, but the CTR mag compatible version cannot, due to differences in the forend dimensions.

Which way should I go?

You already have AICS mags? Then there is zero reason to get the CTR mag version.

Ah ok. I was under the impression that the CTR version fed smoother though, and I wouldn't mind buying smoother-feeding mags and selling off my AICS mags (I only have 3 anyways). But if the difference in feeding isn't very prominent, then I suppose nothing wrong with going the standard magazine route.

I really like my CTR magazines, but you have more choices in magazine capacity for match use if you go AICS. I have one Tikka setup for CTR magazines, and two for AICS magazines. I really like how short the CTR magazines are, but you could use AW mags if length is an issue.

The CTR mags do feed smoother than the AICS in my rifles.

I don't think the AW mags fit in a Tikka action do they?
