Just bought a KRG Bravo stock for my Howa 1500 action. 26” Bartlein 5R barrel 6.5 Creed. Has anyone had any experience with this stock good or bad?

So I too am excited to use it, but haven’t had hands on yet. It was recommended to me from shooters from a few matches I’ve RO’d.

It was hydro-dipped in a carbon fiber look, then (I'm guessing) sponge painted with the blotches you see there. Came out better than I envisioned. Nate with Hunter Precision in Mona, UT is the guy you can get it done with to kill the curious cat.Was it painted to look like carbon fiber?
@Shooter II I just picked it up this weekend. Finally reporting back like I promised. Nate with Hunter Precision (who built the rifle) and I went to his local range and we put all the necessary info in my Hornady 4DOF. With him on the spotter, I took it out to ~350, ~550, ~780, ~990 to confirm data. The rifle shot lights out. Now that stock through the whole process was amazing. Easy to adjust and once adjusted it is locked there and solid. I can't stress that enough. The palm swell is natural feeling. If you haven't ordered one, do it!Looks awesome! I see you got yours. I didn't see it earlier in the thread. Dude, that's a helluva group man! Nice. Not bad for a windy cold day up north with factory Hornady 147 gr match ammo. Can’t wait to dial in my hand loads.
Thanks dude! It’s an awesome stock especially for the price. Hope they come out with a slightly offset cheek piece some day. Can’t wait to run it out to 800+, gonna be super fun!I see you got yours. I didn't see it earlier in the thread. Dude, that's a helluva group man! Nice.
Totally agree, for roughly $300 it’s the best deal out there right now, that I’ve seen anyway. Whole lotta stock for not a lot of money.I think the Bravo would be a steal at $500, so the fact that you can get them for $300 or so just blows my mind. I thought I was settling for the Bravo instead of the Whiskey 3, but after shooting both, I'm not so sure. The W3 is great, without a doubt, but I sure didn't notice a $500-700 difference.
I am fascinated by your observation. I know the W3 has just shy almost a pound of weight on the Bravo. But never would think the feel wasn't noticeably different. To me, I just thought there would be. That's cool. Just means KRG makes a great product across the board. Giving the consumer an affordable option without truly compromising anywhere. Don't get me wrong, they do feel different, and the W3 is nicer, hands down. What I'm saying is, if you told me one was $900-1000 and the other was $600 and I had to pick one, I'd have a hard decision. Tell me one was $900-1000 and the other was $340sih? I'd think you were scamming me.I am fascinated by your observation. I know the W3 has just shy almost a pound of weight on the Bravo. But never would think the feel wasn't noticeably different. Finally had a chance to take a better pic. Sure do love this stock. Solid, light and very accurate all for roughly $450. Perfect for a 6.5 Creed with virtually no recoil.
