I am planning a elk/mule deer hunt next fall to Montana. I just got a Tikka Superlite 6.5cm as a gift from my employer. This is obviously a light gun. I am used to a Mcm A5 on my 243 bolt gun. The stock on the Tikka has way to low of a comb even for me to use comfortably with a low hunting scope. I saw that the KRG Bravo has the features I would want and is cheaper than the options that Manners and Mcm have. Is this a heavy tactical stock like Mcm or can I possibly make a “lightweight” build with it? Or should I just search the forum classifieds and find a Manners EH series

There are many options for getting the comb height you want. A stock pack or add on cheek riser. 47 grains of RL 26 and 147eld will get you 2860fps or more depending on your altitude/conditions if you want to get the most out of that rifle for killing an elk. I put a long bolt stop on mine to be able to seat bullets out farther and use case capacity. 2.968 coal is what I am running. You can get the longer 3 or 5 round tikka magazines to run the longer coal. 5 round tikka magazine part number is S5850375. Europtic had the best price on magazines last time I was looking. Good luck with your Hunt!
