KRG Bravo, what screw is this for?

I have a new KRG Bravo for the 700SA. I was swapping out the Bravo forend with a Whiskey-3 forend and this hex screw with two washers dropped out.

I tried fitting into the Whiskey friend but it just doesn't seem to align anything with these washers.

Any insight? Thanks!

for a Remington action, yes

I believe you have to remove the outer skin/cover first.

That makes sense. I didnt need it to come out, but that explains it.
