Got my blem bravo today and I've been trying to get it tightened down to my Howa for an hour or so now.

The front action screw will not screw down far enough to lock the action in. I get it tightened to 65 ft lbs per spec and it will wiggle side to side. Same goes for looser or tighter. Seems like the screw is bottoming out so it won't get tight enough. I can see a pretty obvious gap that shows me the action isn't seating into the backbone.

Back screw seems fine.

It looks like the backbone is cut right for the Howa, but maybe the block deal is wrong or I got the wrong screw?

Planning on calling KRG in the morning but thought someone might have some insight before then.

I got a KRG X-ray once for a Tikka, and it shipped with one of the screws as a R700 Action screw. I called them up to explain that one of the screw shipped to me wouldn't fit into the action and they sent me out new ones.

I got the new action block thingy in a day. They're just over the state line from me so shipping is fast. The new block had the same problem.

I ended up just shortening the front action screw about 1/4 inch. I don't know for sure if the problem was the screw itself, the block, or my action, but either way it's an easy fix and rock solid now. I'm betting that I got a little devcon in the screw hole when I bedded it to the last stock.

Shit happens sometimes and KRG was awesome about it either way.

I had that issue on mine as well. The block they sent me worked great. When I measured it it seemed to sit lower so that the action pulled down to the chassis and not to the bridge ( I believe that's what they called it). I didn't have an issue with the screw.

Thanks for your patience guys. There was a change in how far down the recoil lug protruded from the action on the Howas at some point. We had to change the bridge slightly to allow for a "deeper" lug. If you have issues please let us know and we'll get you squared away.
Thank you for your business and Merry Christmas!
