Honestly, I've never heard of that problem.
Just looking at it, it appears that if the cheekpice is at its lowest, it is about even with the top of the action.
You must have an Andre The Giant type face if that is too high for you.
Maybe look into an HS precision stock, they are well made but have very low combs. You can have it inletted for a dbm.

Don’t take this personal, but Why the long face?
That is a good point. It isn't bad with the cheek piece removed and covered with coban either.
