I am looking around for a new bbl for my AR-15. I came across a Krieger DCM/HBAR 1-7.7" Twist, 20" length for a little over
$500.00. I mainly Target shoot and the barrel I have is a
DSC NM 1-8 twist/20" length. I think I paid $275 for it at the time. It was one thing I screwed myself on, which was skimpin' on the barrel when I bought it. Meaning I should have waited a little longer to get the money to purchase a better barrel instead of buying a barrel with the money I had at the time. Big mistake. I usually shoot 100yrds-600yrds with 62gr-77gr bullets. The barrel I have now will hold sub-moa groups at 100-300yrds but it has thousands of rounds thru it. Its time for a new barrel. I had also seen a Satern barrel in stock somewhere. What do you think would work best? Go with the Krieger? I would like to find one in stock someplace instead of waiting months and months from the manufacturer. The only place I found them (Krieger,Shilen,Satern) in stock was at Midway USA.com

I own a krieger 24" for my long range AR, great barrel. My question is,if your barrel is still shooting sub min. why change it out, they should go thousands and thousands, of rounds.

You can get the Armalite heavy stainless "T" (target) barrel, 24", 1:8 from www.762sass for $425.00 which includes a stainless railed gas block. They also carry (currently out of stock) a stainless 20" A2 match grade barrel, 1:8 with an A2 clamp on FSB. It sells for $225.00 when they have them. You might also check with Armalite. I believe these barrels are made by Kereiger.
