L3i New "Stinger" Barreled action

Web site shows "sold out". Maybe I need to clear my history or something ?

I don’t even get sold out. I still just see coming soon. I didn’t get any notifications that they were available either.
Did you put your names on the list, see post #261? I received an email with a link to complete the purchase.

After watching your livestream last night you mentioned headspace adjustment and how it will be done. What will the combo headspace shipout with ?
Watched this last night, pretty interesting. @Mechdesigner you should consider selling a small/spare parts kit, I'd buy one or two. I know you have plenty, I saw those bags of springs. :D

Spare parts hopefully going to be available, firing pin, firing pin springs, extractor, extractor springs, bolt tool, bore guide. Once this action hits the masses there may be other wear items that will be needed. I have had firing pins that were not properly heat treated and deformed rather quickly I am a believer in carrying spare parts. Looking forward to this action...

100% we will have spare parts available. We used Tool steel and heat treatment on the heavy wear items to prevent the need for any replacement parts for a very long service cycle, but I am of the mindset that 2 is 1 and 1 is none!

It's officially started!!!!

Well given they are using my solution posted here on page two of this thread for tennon insert as core feature of new action its a machined cone protector with cuts for extractors so barrel can utilise a cone breech ,it also enables minor head space adjustment by screwing a barrel in and out a bit, being a Rem40x type action with lug raceways it indexes of those while also centering bolt face. All in all good concept for 40x clone

one more tip while mine and theirs was for simple tapered cone breech , i would recommend trying radiused breech variant so that extractors have better purchase and continue to extract when extractor slots get fouled with wax and gunk.

*as a greedy bastard i hope L3I could get me couple of their mags for the whole insert idea ,would take blems 😅

Sure thing, PM me your info. The spacer idea was fantastic. The lugway indexing was the dual purpose feature we added to keep the bolt nose concentric to the bore while orienting the extraction cuts. We have tested several thousands of rounds and the cone breech has shown no significant signs of wear!
