If anyone has a Rem 700 20moa base, would you mic the front and back measurements I think I have one but not sure. I see no marks on it which I thought it would say. It's taller than a standard rail. Thanks, Wayne

Re: LA Picatinny Rail

Mine is mounted so it's a little tough to measure any worthwhile reference points.

As near as I can eyeball, the front is .325" between the top of the reciever and the bottom of the clamp groove, at the junction of the recoil lug/action.

The back is .465", maybe, from the top of the reciever to the bottom of the clamp groove, at the very back end of the rail.

The distance between those two points is approx 6.315"

Mine is an EGW.........

Re: LA Picatinny Rail

Tripwire thanks, Is yours a 20moa? the difference in front to back on yours is .140 (.465 - .325) mine the front is .166, the back is .276 thats a difference of .110, mines .030 less than yours so it's obviously not a 20moa if yours is. Thanks for your time, Wayne

Re: LA Picatinny Rail

Oops, my apologies...mine's bedded with about that much steel bed under the rear and didn't disallow that.

So make the back of mine .435", that's a .110" difference too.

You apparently have a 20 moa rail.....
