The sheer number of people, congestion and traffic are insane. I honestly do not understand how anyone can live there.

I've been working east of Portland for the last month and half and fly in/out weekly, have two to three more months up here. Driving down I-84 to the airport and seeing all the homeless camps makes me laugh while shaking my head. They think they're so damn evolved, they know not what they bring on themselves. I have yet to venture into Portland proper, and hopefully won't.
Beautiful country up the Deschutes River though, at least I have good scenery with next to no people around while I work.
As for airports, I spend absolutely as little time as I have to in those voluntary prisons. They must spray crazy attractant at the food court inside or some shit, because I never see these kinds of people in the wild. What's really fun is talking about harvesting game in the shuttle buses and seeing how many sneers and sideways looks you get. Like their food was born in styrofoam and cellophane...
I sometimes find myself thinking that if DPRK did fling a few nukes at DPRKalifornia etc it would solve a few problems for the rest of us.
You know what's really funny.......those same people are probably the ones who post death threats against hunters who post pics of their kills on social media.
