I'm still relatively new to this, but I'm about to work up a load in 300 winmag. I have brand new Norma brass and I was going to run a ladder. (I still haven't decided if I'm going to neck size or fl size) but if I work a ladder with new brass and it looks like a node is within a certain powder range, but the brass expands after first firing to fit the chamber and I use the same powder charge again only in a case that has now expanded won't there be less pressure with X grains on the second firing and therefore less velocity. Is a ladder inaccurate from the first firing of a case to the second and subsequent? Am I even thinking straight?
