I have some brass with the headstamp: LC MATCH 70. I assume it's Lake City Match brass made in 1970. I'm having a slight issue with this brass. After I resized it, trimmed it, and de-burred it I dropped one or two into the chamber on my 40X just to check the fit. When I close the bolt my extractor doesn't grab the rim of the brass unless I pull the trigger. Apparently that causes enough vibration for it to grab? Is this a common issue? Should I worry about it?
I noticed when working on the brass that it's much heavier than my commercial brass. The walls are thicker. Everything seems beefier on this brass.
I trimmed the cases down from 2.019" to 2.010". Could I have pushed the shoulders back when resizing? It doesn't look it.
