Snip—

In a report to the five-member police commission, Chief Beck said that Soderberg's actions "presented an imminent threat of death or serious bodily injury," and that the use of lethal force would be "objectively" reasonable, the Los Angeles Times reported.
But in a closed-door vote on Monday, the police commission voted three-to-one to find the officers had acted out of policy.
Police Commission President Steve Soboroff refused to comment on his panel’s decision and it remained unclear as to why the officers were found to have violated policy, the Los Angeles Times reported

sooooooo......someone was shooting at the cops......and the cops are not supposed to fire back?

they admitted that the officers had reason to fear for their lives.....and that the use of deadly force would be reasonable.........but somehow that violated policy?

Just, 'wow'. For starters, every single member on that panel should have to witness the fire-hydrants being removed from their yards. As well as pointedly ensure that all neighbors are still fully protected.

After all, we wouldn't want any firemen putting out any wrong fires, either. Would we? Fires are living-breathing entities, therefore they gots Rights too, eh?

Any other essential services would/should have their addresses removed from their maps. Including mail delivery. And power. And water. Hell, turn off the sewer lines. Them folks need to know what it's like to 'not matter'.

And THEN, let the hazing begin. Waco style.

Sooo outta WTFs . Apparently they (the officers) were not paired up and connected via double ended dildo wearing Liberache capes , singing the Mexicamln national anthem and waving rainbo flags . Sarc Off . Police should refuse to respond to any fuckin thing for a week . Let the civilian review commies handle it .

Now here is my question, is it out of policy to shoot back or engage from the helicopter? I can understand if it is out of policy to engage from a helicopter.

This is what the end result looks like for letting bad cops stay on the force with the 99%. You get more insane "oversight", same shit happened back in the 70's starting in NYC, its going t get much worse before it gets better. The last path taken to gt the cops out of this "oversight" issue was the war on drugs that convinced everyone to become the sheeple they are right now. That trick aint going to work twice.

Insane as this is, its a largely self inflicted problem.

Agree self inflicted, however, I wonder where the Blue line is that Dinndu Nuffin out of the ordinary and we investigated ourselves and find no wrong doing?
They ALL need to Police their own ranks and weed out the bad before they corrupt them all.
