    These are EDM'd slugs from action manufacturing. The slice is the wire exiting from the bore after finding position. Wire EDM's use the wire itself as the edge finder to determining location within a part. So, minus the .005 to .007 for the diameter of the wire, they are 1:1 representations of the feature. Long pulls on the wire (like across the length of the receiver for instance) induce a certain amount of distortion on the wire as a result of the flushing action by the water, but these are in pretty good shape in terms of straightness. 10x straighter than what'd be needed to lap a raceway for sure.
