Lapua 6mm Scenar.... Good, bad??

Has anyone had a chance to use the Scenar L 105 gr. I have a new Surgeon 6xc that needs a pill.

I would love to shoot the 105 hybrid but I can find any. The Scenars seem to be readily available.

Ah. I haven't looked recently. Last time they became available I bought a barrels worth so I didn't have to worry about it. Coming into match season I've got one week where I need 500 alone. My only thought if a bullet was readily available there might be a reaon for it (although I've never used them).

Berger 105 hybrids put together better groups for me on paper, but the Lapuas rang steel with more consistency about a month ago at 500 yards. The Lapuas were very velocity picky, whereas the Bergers did well across a wider veloCity section. If you go Lapuas, by the time you invest the time and money (44 cents a bullet), you better plan on sticking with them.

I use them but they are too expensive...I switched to 105 Hornadys

The scenars are fine but one can do the same with the 105 hornady HPBT. G1=.525 confirmed and if you point them even a tad better but not really
need it for tactical shooting. They are good value so give both a try and see how your barrel likes them.
