I have heard guys saying they have 15-20 reloads with Lapua brass. Even if using mild loads is this possible, 20 reloads?
I use the Lapua 6.5 Grendel brass and have about 8 reloads thru them so far with no wear/cracked or split necks on none of them and only had to trim once, so maybe you can. I never used the Lapua .223 brass cuz I never seen the need for it when you could get 100pcs of Winchester brass for 17.99.
Alexander Arms and Lapua are the only 6.5 grendel brass producers so far (Hornady soon) but the AA brass looks and holds up exactly like the lapua brass. I heard the AA brass IS lapua brass but with AA headstamp but many websites sell the AA brass $20-$30 cheaper than the Lapua brass. I dont know about that one.
$102.00 for 100pcs of lapua brass (6.5 Grendel) is up there in price but if you could get 15-20 reloads with them they are plently worth it.
