Well i got my lar-8 compleat lower , now i need some help finding the best price and availability on a compleat upper,

RRA , What should i be looking for in the brl ex

any info would be great thanks

I'm probably misunderstanding the question, so ignore this if it's useless info.

As far as I know, you're stuck with using RRA upper assemblies. No other brand will work with their 308 platform except the old Bushmaster BAR10. This is due to the proprietary design using FAL mags.

yeah i know it is proprietary to RRA

just some input or maybe a site to find them in stock at a resonable price

with the obamascare2 in full swing, it will probably be hard to find anything in stock. Sorry I misunderstood your post.

As far as I know, MTRMN is right abt u being stuck with a RRA Upper. I have a 26"barrel Varmint A4 and love it. Don't regret it.

well i opted for the PREDITOR HP upper should have it friday . best price i could find and instock 871 shipped , and with what i spen on the lower i have 1221 in the rifle so far

glass will be the same as my 700sps , so far so good with that scope so i fig ill stick with it

And by stuck with, they all mean, you fortunately get to use... an RRA LAR-8 upper. You can't go wrong with the 20" chrome-moly barrel. I have the free-float half quad rail on mine. It's a bit heavy but shoots with barely any recoil...easily sub-MOA and I'm working on .5 MOA 10 shots with Federal Gold Medal Match 175 gr... Enjoy the build...
