I've seen tons of options for Remingtons. I haven't ran across anything for my Rugers except a rubber ball that just slips over the existing knob. Is there a way to make a two piece knob for a Remington fit the Ruger handle?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I tried the krg on my Hawkeye longrange.
No worky.
I ended up taking it to my smith and he turned down the factory knob and threaded the stud. Sucks there’s not aftermarket for these rifles but it’s so much better now with the longer bolt knob

I had a M77/22 that I put a badger knob on. Ruger bolt handles are super hard. Took me a little bit to get it done, but a dremel, some files, and a die set and I was on my way. Loved the finished product

I used a dremel, cut it into a square, then used files to make it a round post. Once it was the perfect size, I had no problem with the die. The material is hard enough that if you are oversized a little bit, the die wont cut in to start. Bench grinder would certainly cut time down, just go slow so as to not take too much. Good luck, post it up when you're done
