Largest contour Kreiger for my HS Precision Stock?

I have the Rem 700 5R Milspec with the, factory provided, HS Precision stock and I'm curious, what is the largest contour barrel barrel I can put in this without modifying the stock? I'd like to have this next barrel be 30" as opposed to the current 24" barrel.

i have a #8(.820) on mine but was for sure wanting to get an MTU contour next time which i think is just to big and that is a .920 i believe at the muzzle

i have a 700 in an HS stock with an MTU contour barrel (cut to 20 inches).

modifying the stock takes about 5 minutes with some sandpaper and a dowel rod.

don't let stock modification hold you back.

true, the HS stock do sand very easily

Great feedback, guys! I'm super amped about throwing a Krieger in this bad boy! Just bought a Jewell trigger and the barrel is next.

Here is a pic with the stock barrel and trigger. I'll upload another one after the Krieger is installed.
