What are your experiences with this trigger? Mine is on the way after 2 weeks. Got it for 89$. Going on my 18", shoots about an inch now with mil spec and careful shooting. Next step will be handloading then probably a white oak barrel if the handloading doesn't get it down to sub inch.

Only have 1 example so far. Most people compare it to Geiselle's SSA. I like the LaRue better, wider trigger shoe. Reset is grittier on the LaRue, but not terribly so. I feel less creep in the actual pull of the MB2T when concentrating on it and it's slightly lighter weight. Compares fairly well to my SSAE.

They compare most directly to an SSA but often gauge 1/2 lb lighter on the break, give or take depending on the lower receiver they are in. Really hard to beat for value.

Iguess it depends if the goal is 'good', 'best', or 'cheap' . . . (or some combination thereof . . )

While I have zero time with the LaRue, I do have Geiselle's, and have to say that after firing a build I did with a High Speed, the SSA feels very, very, crude, and I demoted the one I have to my beater AR and put High Speed's in all my good guns. Cheap? Not by a longshot, but the massive improvement in feel and break is worth it, at least to me . . . not to mention the High Speed being fully adjustable . . .

I have 2 SSA-Es and a LaRue MBT. The MBT is probably the best 2 stage I've used. The width of the trigger is worth mentioning as well, it just feels like I am able to get a better purchase on the trigger than any other trigger.

However, my only complaint is the reset. It's crisp, but not very strong compared to the SSA-E.

Great trigger. We build with and sell LaRue, Geissele, Knights Armament, LMT RRA and Colt. If I am not building a military spec gun, then LaRue and Geissele are what I choose to build with and shoot. I like the Geissele better, because we work closely with Bill and his team, and they are great people. Mark builds great guns and components, but... I said we like Bill.

Honestly, in a blind folded test shooting, I am not sure I can tell the difference between an SSA, an SSA-E or a LaRue.

Oh, and we have a relatively large inventory of LaRue triggers that we bought for resale, before Mark lowered the price, and they are taking up shelf space now at $109.00, and the LaRue grips. If you want a LaRue trigger, send me a note. I am going to ask you how many, because I want them all gone by Tuesday. ;)
