Rifle Scopes Larue Aimpoint 3x FTS (pivot) Mount Experience

Has anyone had any experience with the Larue FTS mount for the Aimpoint 3x magnifier? How does this compare to the Sampson FTS mount?
Any input or suggestion on the two would be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure if there is anyone from Larue on this board that may be able to provide an update on the Larue FTS "short" version due out soon?

I have the Larue and it works as advertised. However, you will have to move it back a couple of rail spaces when using a Aimpoint M4S to allow for clearance of the battery compartment.

Steve12 are you using an Aimpoint M4 sight with the 3X magnifier?
Can you let me know how the FTS mount works? Is there a button or do you pull it?

The M3. And you pull it. It has a fairly strong spring. Locks in rock solid.

Steve12 thanks for the reply. I am waiting on the new "short" version of the mount that should be out soon. Hopefully someone from Larue is on the board and can chime in with a date that it will be available.
