I'm searching larue lt123 onepiece on the hide and i'm not coming up with anything.i'm mounting a nightforce 5.5-22x56 on a remington 700 sps tactical. I plan on changing out the hogue overmold stock once i can but will i need a cheek rise to get adequate cheek wield with these rings?? would they be to high for a stock without a cheek piece. if anyone has experience with this particular setup im all ears.

Re: larue lt123 one piece to high

I've used Larue's one piece mounts on my Savage 10 fcpk and without a cheek riser and it was definitely way too high. The larue one piece stuff are really meant to be mounted on AR type rifles and not bolties. I plan on using mine on an XLR chassis and I needed at least 1.1" ring height to clear my handguard. If you're gonna use that mount, unless you've got a freakishly long face you're probably gonna need something to get your eye level up higher to the center of the scope reliably. You'd probably be better off with their 2 piece 1.28" rings imo but even then you might still want something to bring ur eye level higher.
