Rifle Scopes Larue Mount for Vortex. Size?

Im thinking of getting the Vortex Viper PST 1-4x24mm and was wondering which of the Larue mounts would work better, the:

SPR-E (extended)
or
SPR/M4

The Trijicon Accupoint works well on the SPR-E and its 10.3in long. The Vortex is 9.7in. long.

The 1-4x24 PST has very long eye relief, so I would probably go with a mount that extends the optic further forward. Especially if you have anything close to a NTCH cheek weld.

SPR-E then. I believe people running the S&b shortdot use the SPR-E.

+1 on the SPR-E. Used it on an Accupoint, as the standard SPR-1.5 did not give me enough eye relief without mounting the scope on the forearm rail.
